Each accepted PIMRC 2006 conference paper must have at least one full registration of a DELEGATE (IEEE member 600 EUR or non-member 750 EUR) attached to it by 16 June 2006. In case of multiple accepted papers by one author, one full registration must be attached to each paper. Registration fees for IEEE student members (270 EUR) are NOT valid for paper presenters. However, paper presenters who are IEEE student members can register for the free tutorials as an additional bonus.
Authors please note that full registration must be done prior to the submission of a camera ready copy. It is expected that the registration is done in the name of the author who will present the paper at PIMRC'06. Organisers need 3-5 working days to handle credit card charges and minimum 10 working days to receive bank transfers. This means that authors should register and pay no later than 2 June 2005.
The deadline for submitting the camera ready copy is 23 June 2006.
All accepted papers are expected to have a presenter attending the conference. If no written cancellation (e-mail, telefax or letter) is received for a full registration for the paper by 6 September and no rearrangements for substitution have been done to have someone else present the paper at the event, the paper in question will not be included in IEEE Explore.
To qualify for the discounted IEEE member rates, you must be a member of IEEE or the IEEE Communications Society (ComSoc) and include your membership number in your electronic registration.
To qualify for the student rate you must be a student member of the aforementioned associations. Students must also present their ID onsite. Non-members can save immediately by applying online for IEEE or the IEEE Communications Society (ComSoc) membership.
PIMRC’06 organisers have the right to give the contact information of registered participants to Finnair – the official carrier of PIMRC’06. Finnair will only use the contact information for promotional purposes prior to the event.
As the Official Carrier, Finnair offers PIMRC’06 delegates a 10% discount on published airfares to Helsinki. Please contact your local Finnair office, and refer to “Amadeus page GG AIR AY CONGRESS”.
PIMRC’06 registration can be paid either by credit card or by bank transfer. Credit card payments are the preferred form of payment.
Credit card payment can be made with VISA, MasterCard or Eurocard. Please note that organisers need 3-5 working days to handle credit card charges. You will receive a confirmation after your credit card payment has been accepted.
If you wish to make a bank transfer, please select this option in the electronic registration form. Once your electronic registration form has been finalised, you will receive an invoice with the payment instructions. When making a bank transfer, it is very important to include the reference number in the payment. Please note that organisers need minimum 10 working days to receive bank transfers.
Upon receipt of the registration form and payment, a confirmation will be sent to the delegate by e-mail. For paper authors, access information for uploading the camera ready copy of an accepted paper will be given once the full registration for the paper has been confirmed.
Notification of cancellation must be made in writing (e-mail, telefax or letter) to the PIMRC 2006 Symposium Office: CONGREX (P.O.Box 81, FIN-00371 Helsinki, FINLAND, Telefax: +358-9-56075020, e-mail: pimrc2006@congrex.fi). For registrations that are attached to accepted papers, no reimbursement will be given. Reimbursement will not be given for late arrival, unused services included in the registration fee, unattended events or early departure from PIMRC’06.
