Hotels listed as symposium hotels offer good value room rates for the event participants of NRS/FWCW´04. Participants should contact the hotel of their choice directly and reserve a room. In order to have the symposium room rate, you should indicate NRS´04 when doing your reservation.

Rooms are reserved on a first come, first served basis. Some restrictions may apply for the dates (weekend and week day rates). The same rates are valid 2 days prior and after the Symposium. After the reservation deadline in a hotel expires (indicated below), normal hotel rates become valid. For late arrivals, hotels request credit card information. Accommodation will have to be paid at check out.

Cumulus is located close to shopping streets (e.g. the Rotuaari pedestrian street) and Tietomaa Science Centre. All the rooms have been renovated during the spring 2003. Hotel Restaurant Lasaretti is situated in a culturally and historically valuable setting on the island of Lasaretinsaari close to the centre of Oulu. The island is part of an idyllic park situated at the mouth of the River Oulujoki. All rooms have air-conditioning, shower, toilet, hair-dryer, towels, television, telephone and minibar. Some of the rooms also have telecommunications connections. There is also a laundry room, with ironing facilities, available to guests free of charge. Hotel guests can use the sauna every day. There is a swimming pool in the sauna section. Hotel check-in is from 14 p.m., check-out by 12 noon. Restaurant Lasaretti is situated in the same building as the hotel. Room prices include breakfast served in the dining room. The restaurant has à la carte menu, with lunch served from Monday to Friday.
