In conjunction with IWCT´05, CWC wishes to present its own research as well as the operations of some of its research partners. A bus tour in Oulu will be arranged on 10 June starting from and returning to workshop hotels. The tour includes visits to the following research centres and companies:

CWC 4G Lab
The CWC 4G Lab focuses on MIMO channel measurement and modelling, real time hardware evaluation of key 4G technologies and multi-cell system simulation. 4G Lab is a joint effort with CWC’s long term research partner Elektrobit. The lab is intended to validate critical technology aspects in realistic environments, to facilitate technology transfer and to give an “open” environment for cooperation with other groups.
Elektrobit Ltd
Elektrobit is one of the internationally most appreciated experts in wireless communications, who helps its customers to develop their products, solutions and wireless networks all over the world. A thorough knowledge of wireless radio signals is one of the company’s core competences.

NetHawk
NetHawk exports its products all over the world. Its customers include mobile phone network manufacturers, operators and service providers. NetHawk’s products are software-based – interface cards and cables are the only parts physically visible to the customer. The company is well known worldwide for its innovative portable solutions.
NetHawk’s objective is to improve the quality of mobile networks in all possible ways. The products of the company cover the entire life cycle of networks but, in accordance with its pioneering role, the company is focused on the early stages of the networks – when networks are still being developed or commissioned.
