Research Groups

CWC has two-fold mission. On one hand CWC wants to excel in academic performance by producing world class graduates as well as publications. On the other hand CWC was established to bridge the grand canyon of academic results and industry needs. Thus CWC wants to help it's customers by creating new technology and by giving support to industry in their aspirations.

CWC research strategy states that our research is focusing on basic research arena in signal processing and radio engineering, radio access and network topologies and future wireless internet. In application oriented research security and defence as well as Medical ICT are identified as strong future opportunities. New emerging openings include e.g. smart energy grids and mobile clouds.

CWC mission statement as well as research strategy has resulted in an organisation where research is divided into basic research oriented groups and application oriented groups. Currently we have the following groups (and within groups teams).
